Anniversary trip to the BEACH

Hey fellow bloggers!

Soooo I just got back from Alaska this last weekend. We were there for 8 days and boy was it amazing. I am trying to figure out a way to live there every summer and in Destin, Florida every winter. Ah, wouldn't that be nice.

I think I mentioned before how my hubby Brandon surprised me back in May with a trip to the beach for our anniversary in June. I still haven't posted about it... I know I'm a blogging loser.

But here it is... our trip to Destin, Florida back in June. We were there from June 3rd through June 12th (our anniversary)  When we got there a lot of my family was there already. But they were leaving just a couple days later, they went the week before we did. It worked out perfect that we got to see them for a few days.

There's a very small re-cap of our awesome vacation!! I learned a lot about us in this 1st year of our marriage. Like the old saying "we may not be perfect, but we're perfect for each other". I strongly believe in that now. He makes me a better person and accepts me for me. Everyone says the 1st year of marriage is very tough and not to sound like everything is great and amazing but really our 1st year was not real rough. We love being together. Of course theres been times we want to strangle each other (lol.. not literally) but marriage is what you make it. And we are making our marriage everything we've dreamed.

Hope to see this beach every year for our anniversary.
